The Mubende celebration is characterized by community exhibitions of best practices in sustainable forest management interventions, as well as community owned sustainable structures as a sustainable community development mechanism. This event creates a platform for show casing experiences, best-practices, lessons learnt and to flag key issues to inform further development of the forestry sector. This event would be a satisfying celebration appreciating the community, civil society organizations and Local governments for the value they add to EA in the 20yrs and for the various positive impacts realized in their livelihoods, and overall national development.
