The new interventions will build on previous achievements, lessons and strategic relationships to ensure priorities of the vulnerable men and women are integrated in ENR and agriculture related policies and programmes at national, regional and international levels. These interventions will benefit up to 48,000 primary beneficiaries and over 450,000 secondary beneficiaries.
The purpose will be achieved through successful implementation of mutually reinforcing programme objectives as illustrated below:

| Enhancing Food and nutrition security | To ensure food and nutrition secure households in rural and urban settings are in place and functioning in Moyo, Adjumani, Yumbe, Wakiso, Kampala, Districts on the basis of policies and mechanisms for sustainable food production and utilisation by women, men and children. |
| Promotion environmentally sound community ENR based enterprises | To promote gender based ecologically, economically viable and socially acceptable ENR enterprises for improved household incomes among natural resource dependent communities in Mubende, Kyenjojo, Wakiso,Kampala, Moyo, Adjumani and Yumbe |
| Effectiveness, Efficiency and Institutional development | An effective and efficient learning organization within a gender sensitive & dynamic environment |
